Classes and Term Dates at Rhythm Express Performing Arts

Term 1 – Friday 4th September – Saturday 24th October 2020 inclusive.

PLEASE NOTE THERE ARE CHANGES TO CLASS TIMES, VENUES AND FEES.

 

All Classes at The Centre, Alpha Road, Birchington

NO CLASSES AT BIRCHINGTON PRIMARY SCHOOL (Early Years will be invited as soon as after school classes are allowed)

No Choral singing, Acrobatic Arts or Adult Crew until further notice   

 

 

Mondays – Hall & Studio 4

Grade Five Ballet 7.00-7.45pm age 15+ approx, £4.00 – Studio 4

Grade Five Tap 7.45-8.30pm age 15+ approx, £4.00 – Studio 4

Musical Theatre (song, dance & drama) 5.00-6.00pm Years 3-6 £4.50

6.00-7.00pm age 11 and above £4.50

Clubberciseage 16 years and over – 7.15-8.05pm £5.50 per class or 10 classes for £40 (every Monday)

 

Tuesdays – Hall

 

Alternative class for after school class – Years 4, 5&6 (commercial street/freestyle, show and exam class) – 4.30-5.30pm £4.50 – Hall

 

Wednesdays – Hall

 

Alternative class for after school class – Mini Musical Theatre (song, dance & drama) – Years 1&2 – 4.00-4.45pm £4.00

Class Skillicious (commercial street/freestyle, show and exam class) – 4.45-5.45pm age 11 and over £4.50

Modern Class Too – 5.45-6.45pm age 9 and over (depending on experience and ability) £4.50

Contemporary Class Too – 6.45-7.45pm age 9 and over (depending on experience and ability) £4.50

Adult tap class – age 16 years and over – 7.45-8.30pm £4.00

 

 

Fridays – Hall

Alternative class for after school class – Years 1, 2&3 (commercial street/freestyle, show and exam class) – 4.00-5.00pm £4.50

Rhythm Express Dance Troupe – open age group by audition only – 5.00-6.00pm £6.00

Street Dance (choreography and teacher) training Class – 6.00-7.00pm age 9 and over £4.50

Saturdays – Hall & Studio 3

Pre-Primary Ballet 9:00-9:30am age 3-5 approx, £3.50 – Hall

Primary Ballet 9:30-10:00am age 5-7 approx, £3.50 – Hall

Primary Tap 10:00-10:30am 5-7 approx, £3.50 – Hall

Grade One Ballet 10:30-11:00am age 7-9 approx, £3.50 – Hall

Grade One Tap 11:00-11:30am age 7-9 approx, £3.50 – Hall

Grade Two Ballet 11.30-12.00pm age 9-11 approx, £3.50 – Hall

Modern Class Won 1.15pm-2.00pm Year 3 and above (depending on experience and ability) £4.00 – Studio 3

Contemporary Class Won 2.00-2.45pm age 9 and over (depending on experience and ability) £4.00 – Studio 3

Modern Class Won+ 2.45-3.30pm age 9 and over £4.00 – Studio 3

 

We urgently need to know if there are classes you will not be attending in term 1 and any that you would like to join, as we can only have so many pupils in a class, so please treat this as an urgent request. If there are no changes to yours or your performer’s classes there is no need to do anything.

Please note that emails/letters/texts will be sent out separately to all pupils involved competitions during 2020/21 and are not always included in this diary

There may also be further workshop/performance dates added throughout the year

*Due to current restrictions due to COVID-19 there are no events booked at this current time. We will continue to work towards exams and medal tests in Ballet (RAD), Tap and Modern (ISTD), Freestyle and Street (IDTA) and hope to have a Musical Theatre show at Easter and a Summer Showcase next summer (dependant on government rulings of course).
